Today I was reading about Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s mind bending defense of banning gay marriage. Being a Texas resident, I know that we are in for the long haul concerning this kind of idiocy. Recently I also posted about Florida Governor Rick Scott’s insane banning of the terms global warming and climate change. I am well versed on his idiocy as my girlfriend lived in Florida for ten years. Rick Scott vs. whoever was the Governor of Texas has been a constant argument as to who lived in the state with the dumbest head politician. We can’t very well leave out Scott Walker of Wisconsin either. You can learn about him at the Scott Walker is a douchebag Facebook page. I just decided this morning that these three, especially because they actually have some power on a national level, are our three worst governors. I think we should start calling them The Axis of Stupidity. Even if you find this grouping to be a little bit random, it’s really no more random than the Axis of Evil grouping. So go forth into your day, I have now given you The Axis of Stupidity. Enjoy…
Watch this video where a public official in Florida twists and turns, to the amusement of those talking to him, to try and not say the words “climate change”. It has to be seen to be believed. Ridiculous, idiotic, hilarious, and scary….
I meant to post this the other day, but I forgot, or I couldn’t make myself because of the astounding stupidity involved. Florida officials, once Rick Scott came into power, were told to not include the terms “climate change” and “global warming” in any official reports. If this wasn’t so insane and depressing, this would actually be hilarious. Florida is a state that is going to be in an especially dire situation due to climate change related problems. Here is just one article about one part of Florida that is going to face catastrophe due to climate change:
Do we really need leaders who not only don’t act in their constituents best interests, but don’t even allow debate about things that may affect those same constituents?
I think the above story is worth glancing over. It’s about how the Supreme Court and some Republican politicians have made Obamacare less effective. In short the Supreme Court let states opt out of the Affordable Care Act. Now the states that opted out, states with Republican govenors like Rick Scott of Florida and Rick Perry of Texas, have gaps in coverage for people with certain income levels. It’s disgusting really, but no surprise.
